When you sign up for Cookiebot CMP, you'll automatically be enrolled in a 14-day trial period. During this time, you have full access to all Premium features.
After the trial ends, users with a single domain with fewer than 50 pages are eligible for a free subscription.
If you choose to continue on a free subscription, the Premium features you may have been using will be disabled.
- Custom color schemes for your banner and the Privacy Trigger are disabled
- Only your default language is preserved, additional languages are removed
- Only your first Domain Group is preserved, additional Domain Groups are removed
- Only your first domain is preserved, additional domains are removed
- Only your first Domain Group is preserved, additional Domain Groups are removed
- Domain aliases are removed
- Automated monthly scanning is disabled
You will be notified of these changes and will be asked to confirm before the changes take effect.
If our scanner finds more than 50 pages on your domain after the 14-day trial ended, you will need a Premium subscription. If you haven't added payment information by the end of the trial, your account will be suspended.
Even if you have a Premium subscription, and you reduce the number of pages to below 50 pages (and you only have a single domain), it is not possible to revert to a free subscription.
However, you can cancel your existing account and start a new 14-day trial. After that, you'll be offered the option to continue on the free plan.
We recommend the following approach:
- Save all data you may need
- Cancel your account
- Wait a few minutes while our systems purge your data before creating a new account
- Add your domain and update the CBID on the Cookiebot script(s) on your website.
