Changes to the Premium Small subscription

Starting August 18, 2025, the Premium Small packages will be reserved for accounts with 4 or more domains. If you're currently using 1–3 domains on your Small package, this change may affect your billing tier.

This does not apply to the Premium Lite Plan ^{(a single domain with fewer than 50 pages)}

If an account has fewer than 4 domains, any Premium Small subscriptions will automatically be converted to Premium Medium subscriptions.

How is the subscription plan determined?

The type of subscription for your domain is automatically set based on the number of pages identified by our scanner. Once you add a domain to your Premium Cookiebot account, our scanner will crawl each URL identified on the given domain and follow links to all other unique URLs found on the page.

If your current number of domains is between one and three, you will be affected by this change.

In the Cookiebot Manager, go to the Domains section to view the current number of domains added to each domain group.

Why are you changing the subscription model?

This update simplifies our pricing structure and aligns with typical customer scaling patterns. Most Small package users manage one to three domains, so the new limit clarifies plan tiers while maintaining consistent and predictable pricing.

What happens if I currently have an account with 1 Medium and 2 Small subscriptions?

All Small subscriptions will be upgraded to Medium. You will then have 3 Medium subscriptions, each billed separately.

An account has 2 Small domains → Both will be upgraded to Premium Medium.
An account has 4 Small domains → They will remain on Premium Small.
Medium or Large subscription → no changes.

What if I have 3 Medium subscriptions, with fewer than 350 pages each, and add a 4th?

The Premium Small packages limitation applies only to subscriptions with 4 or fewer domains. If your domains have fewer than 350 pages and you add a 4th domain, you are eligible to downgrade these subscriptions. To proceed with the downgrade, contact our support team at support@cookiebot.com.

Is this change related to the number of subpages?

No, this change is not based on subpages. It relates to the total number of domains and subdomains in your account.

What is an "account" in this service?

An account refers to your overall subscription with us, such as a Premium Account. Within a single account, you can create multiple domain groups, and each group can contain one or more domains or subdomains.

Each domain or subdomain is assigned to a specific plan—Small, Medium, Large, or Extra Large—based on the number of subpages it contains.

How do you quantify your package limits?

The total number of domains or subdomains across all domain groups in your account is what counts toward your S-package limit. We calculate this limit by combining all the domains and subdomains added to any of your domain groups.
