Can I use the test to sell Cookiebot to my (potential) customers?

You are welcome to order a compliance test for one of your customers' websites. Website owners are often surprised by how many cookies and online trackers their site uses. Presenting a GDPR- and ePR-compliant solution for those cookies and trackers is often a good way to start a sales dialogue.

The test is free. Keep in mind that it's only a partial test, not a full scan of the website (see the compliance test article for details).

You can include a price quote for the domain with the test result. Many customers underestimate the size of their website — and therefore the subscription price. Being transparent about the number of subpages and the subscription price up front can help.

Can I implement the test interface on my own website?

You can't add the test to your own website.

Are you sending this type of test directly to my customers?

If a customer (or potential customer) of yours goes to the Cookiebot website and takes the test, they will receive an email with the test results from us. The email won't include your unique reseller link, because we can't check whether one of your customers requested the test. We are not, however, approaching your customers (or anyone else) with this type of test. We only send it when the customer orders it directly from our website.
