Consent Analytics Overview

Consent Analytics is a built-in report in your Cookiebot Admin that shows how visitors respond to your consent banner. It helps you understand your opt-in and opt-out rates, which consent categories visitors accept, where they are located, and how consent performance differs across your domains.

Consent Analytics is available in your Cookiebot Admin under:

Analytics → Consent Analytics

Cookiebot records the consent choice of each visitor to your domain. Consent Analytics summarizes these choices for the domain and date range you select.

Use the filters at the top of the page to define what you see:

• Date range: Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month, or a custom range.

• Domain: Any domain in the selected domain group.

The summary cards show total consents, opt-ins and opt-outs, including percentages. All sections on the page follow your date range and domain selection.

The chart shows opt-ins and opt-outs per day for the selected date range. Use it to spot changes in consent behavior, for example after you update your banner.

Switch the chart to Detailed to see opt-ins per consent category. The summary cards change to show the count and share for each category. Hover over a category card to highlight its line in the chart.

Category counts only include visitors who made individual category selections. Visitors who selected Accept all or Deny all are not included.

This section shows where consent decisions come from, based on your visitors' detected location. Countries and US states are shown separately.

• Map: Regions are colored by consent volume. Hover over a region to see its count.

• Bar: The top 10 regions by consent volume. Click Show more to see all regions.

Compare opt-in rates over time across your domains to identify what drives consent performance.

To compare domains:

1. Go to the Compare Domains section.

2. Open the dropdown and select a domain. Domains from your other domain groups are listed under the name of their group.

3. Add the domain. It appears as a new line on the chart next to your selected domain.

4. To stop comparing a domain, remove it from the comparison.

You can compare up to five domains at a time. The comparison uses the same date range as the rest of the page.
