I installed Cookiebot but the popup appears with a long delay

I just installed Cookiebot on WordPress using the plugin and it appears on the website. However, it does so with a delay of around 10 seconds when I want it to load instantly. I've seen plenty of other websites with Cookiebot where the popup appears instantly. 

Any ideas about what I did wrong?

  I am facing the same issue. I am also experiencing the delay in site load. This is making site slow. Please guide how to solve this?
