Make Google Analytics through CMS respect Cookiebot
Hi!
So we have this client where we want to set up Cookiebot.
In Google Tag Manager we have tags for Facebook Pixel and Hotjar. And I've been able to make those tag listen to what choise the user do (only in debugger at the moment). So all good.
But the thing is. Our client use a e-commerce platform called Jetshop (https://www.jetshop.se/) where you insert the GA tracking code into one box and that makes the e-commerce tracking work. So they don't manually insert a script and can't do the manual blocking.
So is there anything I can do from Google Tag Manager to make that Google Analytics will respect the users choise?
Because if we need to set up Google Analytics and all e-commerce tracking from skratch in Google Tag Manager - that would be so much work.
And I've asked if they can inject the cookiebot-script directly on the website - but that was not possible because of what I don't know.
Thanks!

Hi Kevin,
Thanks for the question.
You would need to setup a tag specifically for Google Analytics in GTM, because most likely the e-commerce platform would place the code inappropriately from the GTM code.
You can set the same conditional firing as Facebook and Hotjar in GTM.
