Same web property ID is tracked twice
I use Google tag manager with no issues on https://ukenergywatch.co.uk , once I add the cookie consent following the instructions, tag assistant shows "Same web property ID is tracked twice".
Also on preview mode on tag manager and as the screenshot below shows everything firing twice when it comes to all tags :(
Is there supposed to be on the left pane 2 x stats, 2 x preference, 2 x marketing, and is this what is creating everything to fire twice?
Any help fixing this appreciated.

Hi James,
This double tracked ID's behavior could be caused if you have loaded your tracking code both inline on the website, and through GTM as well. Please make sure that you does not load your tracking both inline on the website, and through GTM. This is my initial guess so far, unfortunately I could not give you a final solution of this issue without seeing the source code and domain.
If this is not the case, then could you please post the content of your cookiebot custom html implementation in GTM or send us a ticket request, showing this and your domain, for us to get better insight and investigate the issue further more so we can help you solve it afterwards instead of guessing.

Completely forgot about this issue. Super busy.
I can't actually find anywhere to create a ticket request?
Tag assistant reports 2 x everything. I just added hotjar also and they winging about 2 instances also.
I cant find anywhere, where i would have it in twice, setup gtm based on the setup instructions, dropped code into allocated theme space (avada) and installed cookiebot plugin and popped ID in?

Hi Spas,
Thanks for your reply, I will contact the cookiebot support team to see if this has been implemented correctly or if there is a more efficient way, i cant see anything where i have done anything wrong and gone over the instruction repeatedly, just in case to get to investigate further.
The domain in question is https://ukenergywatch.co.uk/
thanks
James

Hi James,
As discussed with the support team it seems that you have added the Cookiebot script twice on your domain.
Could you please remove the inline script which is duplicated as agreed and proposed by the support as a first step of solving the issue.
Afterwards if you still experience any problems or if you have any follow-up questions, please do not hesitate to contact us here or white the support team via the support mail.Regards,

Hi James, I ran into the same issue and I'm responding to let others know how I fixed it.
Since you and I use WP I figured that there is an issue/problem with the Cookiebot plugin.
Please go to the plugin settings in the sidebar and select "Hide Cookie Popup"
This helped for me and everything is only firing once, as intended.
EDIT: Because I'm using Tag Manager to fire Cookiebot it works as it should. If anyone has his problem without Tag Manager you should just use Tag Manager to implement it properly

Hi Jesse,
Thank you, "Hide Cookie Popup" in the plugin settings fixed duplicate firing instantly.
After all this time just a click of a button in the plugin settings was all I had to do :)

Hi,
I got also the "Same web property ID is tracked twice" error.
Everything seems to be fine, I really do not understand where it comes from.
It seems to be related to the CookieBot CMP in GTM.
