    Hey Mrtvac,

Could you send me the domain and maybe some screenshot, so I could check what may cause the issue and help you solve the problem instead of guessing.
if you want you could post the domain here or sent it at m.ivanov@vconnect.dk

Meanwhile you can try to do manual scan from “Scan domain now” button, which you will find in the “Cookies” menu of the Cookiebot Manager.

    Regars,
    Martin

    Hey Martin,

    I've sent you email.

I couldn't start "Scan domain now" because I'm on trail period at the moment.

    Kind regards.

    Hey Mrtvac,

We checked your domain, as your guessed, the large amount of cookies and third party cookies are set because they pull in ads from external networks, so the report is accurate. Please check this for more information and especially point 4:  https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004269614-Why-does-your-scanner-find-cookies-and-trackers-that-I-cannot-myself-find-on-my-website-Where-do-they-come-from-

    Regards,
    Martin

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for reply. I've already checked that information before when I was trying to find out why this is happening.

I'm still not sure that I fully understand that explanation.

We're providing ads on our website through Google AdSense so none of URL is masked and when user click on some ad, it goes on that advertiser page, it doesn't stay on our page.

How can we "unmask" URLs from Google AdSense?

    Thank you.
    Kind regards.

    Hi Martin,

    Any additional news/info about it?

Is there a way we remove cookies from Google AdSense ads?

    Thank you.
    Kind regards.

    Hey Mrtvac,

Did you still experience some issue ?
Seems like your scan reports shows reduced amount of cookies now. Did you remove some ads from external networks or was some error ?

    Regards.

    Hi Martin,

We removed Google AdSense code from website (business decision) and that's what caused reduced amount of cookies.

Unfortunately, I think that CookieBot still catches cookies from external ads network.

    Kind regards.

    Hey Mrtvac,

This is described above in the topic, point 4, which I have sent.
If you want, you can unmask the links. Link directly to this ads that add you "third party cookies", instead using the redirects. Then the scaner will not follow the link.

    Kind regards.
