HTML placeholders in custom dialog configuration only replaces first instance
AnsweredHi Cookiebot Community,
I am trying to use the custom dialog configuration option to create a customized cookie banner/dialog for my site but am running into a problem with the HTML placeholders as follows:
1. I have two separate elements - a banner and a dialog - that I hide/show depending on some specific user interactions.
2. I want to use some of the HTML placeholders in both those elements (e.g. [#TITLE#] in both the banner and dialog).
The problem is when I put the HTML placeholder in more than one spot only the first occurrence of the placeholder is ever replaced with content text.
According to the description given to the HTML placeholders there's no indication of only the first occurrence being replaced:
"The following HTML content placeholders can be used in a custom banner. Cookiebot will dynamically replace the placeholder variables with content from your Cookiebot configuration."
Is the current behavior the intended behavior or perhaps this is a bug?
Thanks!

Hey again Siso,
Can you explain, how the banner and dialog are two separate elements.
Would you send me your domain name on m.ivanov@vconnect.dk or here in the topic, to check this.Regards,

Hey Siso,
Actually in today's release this feature is now included. Now you are able to use the placeholder "[#TITLE#]" and other placeholders as well more than once in your custom banners.

Hi Martin,
What I have is the dialog is an element embedded inside the wrapping banner element and I dynamically hide/show them and wanted to share the placeholders between the two.
It looks like the release has fixed everything though and it's now working as expected.
Thank you!
