Necessary cookies being removed when accepting.

When a user accepts only necessary cookies it is treated as a decline, and nearly all of my self-declared necessary cookies are removed. This is not desirable behavior. Has anyone had experience with this issue?

These cookies should not be deleted as one of them is a token that authenticates the user with the back end. And others are also used to serve the user with the appropriate content.
