coordination with Revive adserver

I have one website that is needing to coordinate the CookieBot consent system with an adserver.
The website is on a dedicated server. The Revive adserver package resides on this server, and is being used to display ads from various ad networks.
I need to somehow stop Revive from serving ads unless and until the website visitor has consented to "marketing".
I have managed to create a Javascript that determines the state of the CookieBot cookie; in particular, determining if "marketing" is "true". However, I cannot seem to find a way to get this information to Revive before ads are already served. I am currently running Revive's "async" coding, but this doesn't seem to help. I tried using Revive's "single page call" coding, but this failed even to load (perhaps because CookieBot hadn't run yet?) and generated errors.
I think what I'm looking for is the PHP or Javascript to add/change/whatever within the Revive package.
I speak English. Due to being hard of hearing, I would prefer e-mail or text communication, but can use the phone if you don't mind repeating yourself a lot.
