Cookiebot keeps rejecting credit cardsAnswered
Got a notice by mail a few days ago saying my credit card was rejected. Re-added it again (since my credit card is just fine, don't know why it gets rejected) without any luck: same notice.
I managed to add a completely different credit card. But just after a few minutes, I got the exact same error notice saying the newly added credit card also got rejected.
Our services are interrupted for the time being. Any advice on proceeding?
As frustrating as this probably is, unfortunately we do not receive any information from our external payment provider about why a credit card is rejected. Often, though, it is because it has not been registered for 3D Secure, which is a requirement of the payment provider. You should try and contact your bank/credit card issuer and ask why the payment was rejected. A solution that works for many of our users is to add the credit card to a PayPal account and then add PayPal as the payment method for Cookiebot instead - Please see this for details and what you could do: https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360004719793
