What happened to online tech support?Answered
There was once a link to online tech support requests. But I can't find it anymore. It was there a month ago.
We have an urgent tech question and no official tech support link.
Can you explain what the issue is?
Since my post, I found the answer.
It used to be that under Settings > Dialog and then under DISTRIBUTION, the only options were "All visitors" and "Visitors from the EU only". Since then there is a third option "Visitors from specific countries and/or regions". This new option addresses my issue perfectly.
I need to have the Dialog only show when a user from is the EU or Canada. Previously it was the EU only or everywhere. The only issue is that I had to manually enter each EU country plus Canada, a minor annoyance. Previously I didn't need to include Canada.
That said it looks like private online support is no longer available.1
I'm glad that the issue is resolved. Indeed this is a new option in the Cookiebot settings.
We are now using this knowledge base, so people can posts they questions and issues and others can look thru it if similar thing happens to them. If there are very specific issues we are still checking those up, by requesting access to the customer's site and find out the best solution for it.
