  • Hi Ines,

Unfortunately, there is no exact way how to add Cookiebot script only one into the head section of the Mobirise's website. Since this is a really simple website builder, it has limited developer options.
So, you could add the script into the head section of every single page, but this is not recommended.

However, I have found a solution which might help you implement the Cookiebot script once and then it will apear on every page. You could simple paste the script in the Google Analitics area, underneath the GA script. You could find more information about this here: http://forums.mobirise.com/discussion/17494/how-can-we-add-a-script-in-the-head-section-at-site-level-once-for-all-pages

    Dear Spas,

thank you for your kind feedback. In the meantime I have already copied the Cookiebot Code in the head section of every page. Luckily, I don't have that many pages and don't plan to get too many more.

But can you tell why you do not recommend this? I checked it on my website and the cookie banner seems to work fine.

Should I really change it to the GA area?

    Kind regards
    Ines

  • Hi Ines,

In case that you do not have so many pages and everything is working fine as expected, then you could just leave it as it is.
The reason why its not recommended to copy/paste (re-use) the same code multiple times is because there is a "DRY" principle in programming, which means "Don't repeat yourself".
For example, in case that you would need to change something in the future you need to change it multiple times in order to apply it through the whole website, but if you have the code at only one place, you would need to modify it once and then the changes would be applied.

    Regards,
    Spas
