Subscription plan pages scanner - pages count
I'd like to ask whether the scanner counts every piece of content that is accessible via an URL to determine the subscription that would be selected (so counting all html pages, images, pdfs or any other kind of files) or does it count webpages only (so basically only html renderings)? This is a major question as depending on the scanner's logic it would potentially put me in the higher subscription plan than I am anticipating.
Hi Witold Kosowski,
The Cookiebot scanner scans all the html content that a website user can access. This includes both static and dynamic pages, blog posts, images, pdfs, embedded videos etc. In addition, the scanner also scans any content on your website that you yourself link to. After the scan of your website you will receive a scan report which includes all cookies/trackers on your website and a list of up to 5,000 of the subpages found by the scanner.
You could find more detailed information about how Cookiebot scanner define pages on a website here:
How can we exactly discover the page's number?
downloading the csv i see only the coookie number discovere and not the pages so to better understand what is the site situation0
Thank you for reaching out to Cookiebot support. I have responded to this/other question(s) in ticket #114224. Thank you.1
