I noticed that, by default, cookiebot's "uc.js" and "configuration.js" have expiration of 120 seconds. Is it a good idea to set this number higher, and if yes, how?
I am using Wordpress with Cookiebot plugin, and have access to all server files, if needed.
It is not possible to extend the expiration of the cookiebot's "uc.js" and "configuration.js" scripts because it is purposely kept short so changes go live relatively quickly.
The cache duration is 1,200 seconds/20 minutes for uc.js and 120 seconds/2 minutes for configuration.js. As the autoblocking-functionality depends on an updated configuration.js file, it is not possible to extend the cache duration for any of the files. Both files are served from high-perfomance CDN with low latency globally so end users would not experience improved performance by increasing the cache duration.
