We have a contact form on our website which is embedded in a pop-up.
Usually, after hitting send, our "Thank you for getting in touch..." message is displayed, and visitors can close the pop-up.
With the cookie consent banner implemented and only necessary cookies accepted (which I suppose the majority of visitors will be doing) the following happens instead:
- no "Thank you..." message is displayed
- the request gets sent regardless
--> no feedback for the user, resulting in sending the request over and over
At first I thought the reCaptcha in the contact form was the culprit but it was tested without the reCaptcha and the problem remains the same.
All our cookies are classified.
Any idea what can be done about this? Or why it happens?
It seems like one of the cookies that gets blocked should be classified as necessary for the message to show?
Hope someone can help,
Thanks in advance
