Hi all
I am so pleased to be able to announce that we actually released this template type for our banners earlier today.
If you log into your account and go to your consent banner template under 'Dialog' in 'Settings' you will see that selecting the banner type "Multilevel" now prompts a new option to select buttons, either "OK" for a single confirm button, or "Allow all/selection" that will give you the option to have the two button solution that has been widely requested.Go have a look, I hope it is exactly what you're after!

That's exactly what I'm looking for.
"Confirm Selection" (user selects boxes manually and saves the current selection) and "Confirm All" (all boxes are highlighted and the selection is saved).
It would be nice if there would be this selection in the cookiebot menu.

YEAH ... that's GREAT.
Thanks a lot!
Just checked this with an existing Account -> seems to work fine.

That looks fine, but the buttons look the same.
Can you give the buttons different colours? Or can they be adjusted?
In the example here, one button is filled and one button has only a frame. The focus should be on the filled button in order to be clicked.

This is intentional and by design.
Nudging the user or influencing them towards a specific action is something we specifically wanted to avoid in our default layout.
You may do this if you'd like by applying different styles to the two buttons - They have the IDs 'CybotCookiebotDialogBodyLevelButtonLevelOptinAllowAll' and 'CybotCookiebotDialogBodyLevelButtonLevelOptinAllowallSelection'. Before doing so it may be advisable to check with your local DPA what the recommendations on this are in your country.

I understand
But why is it in the "Accept/Reject" layout exactly the way I would have wanted it here now?

Because this template was created prior to the current GDPR interpretations and we do not want to force a change of banner implementation on our customers already using a version of this.

Oh... I have assumed that all templates are in accordance with the current GDPR interpretation. That's why we use Cookiebot and that's why you're the professionals in the field.
So if I use the offered template "Accept/Reject" I am not secured according to the current GDPR interpretation?
Is there a reference to old / current templates? Which ones can we use according to the current GDPR interpretation and which are old or should not be used anymore?

You should check with your national DPA for specifics, as this is most likely the interpretation you should follow. GDPR keeps evolving as the rules are starting to be enforced and rulings appear across the EU. Currently several different national guidelines and recommendations exist. Some are similar and other are quite different.

This script looks as if Google Tag Manager but included in an unconventional way by way of a CMS plugin for example as you cancheck. Google Tag Manager is a tag control device, permitting to trigger several 0.33 birthday party offerings via a unmarried box
