    Hi BT,

Opt-out : any user not opted-in to ANY of the categories.

Opt-in: any user opted-in to ONE OR MORE categories.

So my guess is that your users opted-in to a category (preferences probaby-do you hace it pre-checked?) but not in the statistics one, explaining the drop in google analytics.

We have custom banners for our customers: With a possibility to an opt-in percentage of 95% on marketing and statistics  cookies these banners are designed to let you conduct online business while still being GDPR-compliant. We offer these custom banners completely free of charge to our customers. Have a look: https://www.cookieinfo.net/en/custom-banners/ , custom banner #2 would suit your needs.

    Regards,

    Ruud

    Thanks for your reply.

What about users ignoring the banner? Not clicking anything at all and just continue surfing the website? Are they counted at all?

    Hi,

Users ignoring the browser (happy reading ;-) ) haven't opted-in or opted-out, so no consent has been registered and thus is not counted in any statistic.

That is one of the main reasons we use a centered banner, we want to let the user make a choice.

    regards,

    Ruud
