we have implemented cookiebot on our website and needed to de-activate for the time being, because of our big drop in Google Analytics Traffic data.
Why was that? We have checked the user consents statistics while testing Cookiebot and had around 98,8% of opt-ins and 1,2% of opt-outs shown in the 'user consents" statistics in the Cookiebo admin. We thought: great! After the launch we have seen a reported traffic drop in Google Analytics by around 50%.
Now I am curious: what does Cookiebot mean with "Opt-Out" in the statistics area? We don't have the opt-out button implemented, so we thought it is just counting all the users, that HAVE NOT opted-in explicitly.
So what does Cookiebot count as an Opt-Out if no Opt-Out button is acutally used?
