Which implementation guide should I follow?
There are 2 GTM implementaion guides and I was wondering if I should follow one over the other:

Hi Lauren,
Actually both articles/guides for implementation of Google Tag Manager are relevant and up to date.
The first one: https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009192739-Google-Tag-Manager-and-Automatic-cookie-blocking is based on GTM implementation with Cookiebot Automatic cookie blocking mode.
You could learn more about automatic mode here: https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009063100-Automatic-Cookie-Blocking-How-does-it-work-
The second guide https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003793854-Google-Tag-Manager-deployment is about the base GTM implementation with manual blocking and implementation of prior consent for any remaining elements outside your tag manager.Regards,

Thank you for your response. Is there a way to use the second option (adding the cookiebot tag via GTM) with automatic cookie blocking?
I am using Google Tag Manager with my Shopify store and having a lot of trouble getting it set up. Because I am using Google Tag Manager, I need to use the built in Google Analytic and Facebook Pixel integration and am not able to alter those. Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lauren,
Yes, of course. If you would like to use Google Tag Manager with Automatic cookie blocking then you should follow this implementation guide: https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009192739-Google-Tag-Manager-and-Automatic-cookie-blocking

Hi Spas,
the guide helps with one Tag Manager (= the Google Tag Manager).
But how to handle two Tag Manager Script?
1. Google Tag Manager (for Google Analytics)
2. Dynamic Tag Manager (for 3rd Party Trackings like Google Ads ....)
Info: I placed a ticket to this topic #32178

Hi Lauren,
It doesn't matter how many instances of GTM you are using. So, basically you could use as many as you want.
What matters is that you have created the triggers in each of the instances, and assigned these triggers to the relevant tags.
For example, you can have on GTM implementation with different instances, and a trigger for Cookiebot and another trigger for Google Analytics.Regards,

Hi Christian,
After inspecting your website (Https://ca-sikring.dk ) I could see that you are not using Cookiebot. You do not have installed Cookiebot script of this site and I could not see any problem regarding it.
