We recently noticed that the scroll tracking on our site was inaccurate (baseline was much less than 25% scroll, 50% scroll etc.). We traced this issue back to when we implemented Cookiebot. We checked our Cookiebot settings and we are asking for Explicit consent, so not consent based on scroll.
We also have Cookiebot set to only apply to users who come from the EU, yet we also noticed a large decrease in the amount of traffic to the site, even from the US.
Has Cookiebot been known to impact tags in GTM and how that data gets sent to Google Analytics?
