I do not use the code because i've installed, on Wordpress, the plug in.
I've set to automatic the option in plug in setting but i see that cookies are activated before to accept.
    Have you some suggests?

    Hi,

we had implemented the cookiebot Id via GTM. After the second scan we got a notice that we have to enable the automatic cookie function to block all cookie scripts. Is it possible to change taht via GTM because there we set only the ID like in this article https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003793854-Google-Tag-Manager-deployment?

    Hi,

we have the same situation here. We changed the blockingmode like in this article is written but after the rescan we got the same notice that we have to change the blockingmode. We insesrt Cookiebot via GTM and set the data-cbid as Cookiebot ID to the tag configuration.but it seems it doesn´t work.

    Hi,

    same situation as Daniel Fechner:

I implemented cookiebot via GTM in october 2019 . Along with  the first scan report for october 2019 I received the note that I should enable the automatic cookie-control to block all cookie scripts... which I did as described in the article above. But alas, there is still no blocking when entering my website.

The november 2019 scan report included the same note.

Same question as Daniel Fechner: Could it be, that this automatic script does not work in combination with GTM?

    Hi,

it is still the same. With every new scan we got the same notice that we have to enable the pre consent function. But it seems it isn´t important for Cookiebot. At this forum there is no help from the support as well as by mail. I think we change to an another provider.

    Regards

    Hi,

You can make Google Tag Manager work with automatic cookie blocking, you can use the Cookiebot Plugin (set to auto). But to control when tags are fired, you need to set up triggers.

For example, if you want the Google Analytics tag to fire only when statistical cookies are accepted, you need to remove the "Page view" trigger and instead use the Custom event: "cookie_consent_statistics".

You can read more about this here:  https://support.cookiebot.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009192739-Google-Tag-Manager-and-Automatic-cookie-blocking

The report stating that prior consent ins't enabled can have a number of different causes. It's probably best to write to support@cookiebot.com so we can look into each case individually.
