If you have multiple domains from various customers that should each be set up as ‘free subscription’ under the wholesale model, you need to create one domain group per domain. On domain groups ‘free subscription’ there is a limit of 1 domain and you cannot add any further domains. Please see point 3 in our guide to working with domain groups for your customers and point 6 in our guide on how to sign up customers.
So, what you should do if you have multiple domains with 100 pages or less is the following:
1. Create a domain group as ‘free subscription’ and then add 1 domain to that group.
2. Then create another domain group as ‘free subscription’ and then add 1 domain to that group.
For each domain group, if the scanner detects that it has 100 subpages or less, nothing will happen and it will remain as-is on a ‘free subscription’.
If the scanner detects that the domain has more than 100 subpages and does not qualify for the free subscription, then it will automatically be put on a free 1-month trial (with full Premium functionality). You will not be charged for this trial. If you do not upgrade the domain group to a premium plan before the trial expires, the scripts will stop working on your customer’s website and no scans will be performed on the site. Expired trial domain groups will be marked with a red trial label in the domain group drop-down.
If you upgrade the customer’s domain group to a premium subscription, the subscription fee will be included on the next monthly invoice you receive from us (invoiced monthly in arrears).
