If you have invited a customer – either via the ‘invite new customer’ button or by using your unique reseller link – the customer will belong to your reseller account under the retail model. As a retail model customer, the invoice will be coming from Cybot (the company behind Cookiebot) and paid by credit card or PayPal.
If the customer would rather receive an invoice from you (perhaps payable by bank transfer in your country) (i.e. the wholesale model) and decides this during the sign-up process, please do the following:
- Instruct the customer to cancel his account https://manage.cookiebot.com/goto/cancelaccount Unfortunately, this is not something we can do for you.
- When the account has been cancelled, you can create a domain group on your reseller account and add the customer’s domain(s). This will now be under the wholesale model where the customer will not have access to the configurations and where we send you a monthly invoice minus the 20% wholesale discount.
- Remember to get the new scripts from the ‘Your scripts’ tab under the menu point ‘Settings’ on the customer’s domain group.
