Cookiebot Integration with Elementor

Follow the steps below to effectively and seamlessly integrate Consent Management on your Elementor website:

Step 1 - Login to your Elementor account

Step 2 - Click on the “Edit with Elementor” option for your website

 

Step 3 - Click on Site Settings -> Additional Settings

 

Step 4 - Click on the Elementor Addons Option in WordPress

 

Step 5 - Find the “Cookiebot by Usercentrics” addon and click on the “Let’s Go” button.

 

Step 6 - Create an account in the Cookiebot Admin

Step 7 - Add your site domains to the configuration in Cookiebot Manager and configure the style for your Cookiebot Consent Banner

Step 8 - Click on the “Custom Code” Option available under Elementor and add the Custom Code for CMP Script by clicking on the “Add New” Button

 

 

Step 9 - Mention the script name as “Cookiebot CMP Script”, copy the script from the Cookiebot Manager to the head section in the Elementor, and give it the highest priority as 1. 

 

Cookiebot Admin Account:

Choose the correct domain group and navigate to "implementation" to find your Cookiebot banner script:

Elementor Custom Code Option -

 

Step 10 - Publish your site after adding the Cookiebot CMP script to the Entire Website and click the “Save and Close” button. 

 

 

Cookiebot CMP Banner is successfully configured for your website.

    I had faced the same issue with my website but I fixed it and now it works properly.

    • Install the Cookiebot Plugin:

      • From your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New.
      • Search for "Cookiebot" and click Install Now, then Activate the plugin.

    • Configure Cookiebot:

      • After activation, go to Cookiebot > Settings in the WordPress dashboard.
      • Enter your Cookiebot ID (available in your Cookiebot account under User Settings).

    • Customize the Cookie Consent Banner:

      • In the Cookiebot settings, customize the appearance and functionality of your consent banner to match your website's design.

    • Publish and Test:

      • Save your settings and check your Elementor-built pages to ensure the Cookiebot banner appears as expected.
